How do I use the Library as a community patron?

As a member of the community, you are welcome to use the Library at both the Franklin and Suffolk campuses.  The same respectful behavior expected of our students and staff will be expected of you.

To use a computer, sign in at the Reference Desk and one of the Library staff members will sign you into a computer.

You can search the many databases available to Camp students, staff and faculty when you are using a computer in the Library.  You will not be able to search these databases from home.

You can print pages from a computer; every page costs 25 cents.  You can pay at the Reference Desk.

To make copies, please ask staff for assistance in using the library copiers.  Each copy costs 25 cents.

To take out books, you can request a Camp library card.  You will be asked to fill out a form and also show a form of picture ID that verifies your address.

If you have other questions, please ask a staff member or call 757 569 6741 (Franklin, Monday - Friday) or 757 925 6345 (Suffolk; Monday - Thursday).  Thank you!
