In order to avoid any technical problems within Canvas, it's better to link to library streaming video than embed it. Sometimes there are security features in a student's browser that block embedded video. Other times the authentication needed for the student to view the video malfunctions.
Instead, look for a link to post in Canvas. Our streaming video sites all have "share" buttons which provide persistent links to videos, as shown in the screenshots below.
