Does the library help with tutoring or writing papers?

No, the library helps with research and citations. We do not help students write their papers or tutor in different subjects.
The Writing Center helps with all stages of the writing process. Scroll to the bottom of their website and look over their handouts. They have some great materials on developing a thesis statement and organizing your paper.
The First Quadrant Math Center helps with tutoring in math, science, technology, and business subjects.
We also have 24/7 tutoring through Brainfuse, but you are encouraged to start with the First Quadrant Math Center or the Writing Center. The staff in these offices are very familiar with the requirements for PVCC courses. Students are also only issued 5 hours of tutoring per semester through this service.
