What can I do if a book I need is already checked out?

If the book you are looking for is already checked out, you can put a hold on the item either through our online catalog or by contacting us. Once there is a hold on the item, the person who has it checked out cannot renew it and you will be contacted when the item comes in. It will be on hold for you at the front desk.
